Context :

Half of the world population lives in areas not covered by electrical supply networks and this will probably remain the same for a long time. Such a situation is possible in industrialized countries – in mountainous areas, for example – as well as in the less developed ones. More than just a technological alternative, solar energy very often constitutes the only electrification possibility of the remote sites.

PV solar equipment of remote sites constitutes a significant part of TENESOL activity. Its reliable solar generators of easy maintenance offer a real solution to supply with energy buildings and applications far away from the traditional electricity network.

Principle of operation :

The PV modules convert the solar radiation into D.C. current making it possible to supply electrical appliances (either directly, or via an inverter which transforms D.C. current coming from the panels into A.C. current).

The battery stores energy so that it is constantly available.
The controller protects the batteries from overloads or discharges.

Fields of application :

TENESOL intervenes in more than 50 countries throughout the world and makes its customers benefit from the expertise acquired during its over 20 years of experience and this for many applications.

Canalization and potablisation of water, irrigation...

Lighting of housings, classrooms, health centres...
Preservation of vaccines, foodstuffs...
Supply of televisions, video tape recorders...
Radio communication
Battery recharging stations
