As its first investment, TENESOL chose South Africa.  It is indeed in Cape Town that we developed our subsidiary company TENESA MANUFACTURING: TENESOL South Africa. This manufacturing unit produces the main part of the modules we use in the design of photovoltaic generators.

With 200 employees, this unit has a capacity of 35 MWc per year. In spite of its sustained growth, the unit can be characterized by its very strong flexibility and its production enables to cover the whole of the markets, as varied as they are, on which TENESOL evolves.

But the sustained growth of the European market, and in particular of the German and southern European markets, weighed up much in the recent decision to open a new production site in Europe.

This time, it is in Toulouse that TENESOL will open TENESOL TECHNOLOGIES, a unit that will produce photovoltaic solar modules using the crystalline silicon technology, which remains the most promising technology today.

By choosing Toulouse, TENESOL TECHNOLOGIES will be able to benefit from all the modern infrastructures developed for the aeronautic industry, and to approach the new and very promising Spanish market, while waiting for the French takeoff.

This new factory will produce 15 MWc in the long term, bringing to 50 MWc the output capacities of the TENESOL Group.

The modules produced in our unit will be dedicated to the grid connection market and their unitary outputs will vary between 150 and 250 Wc.

The new building will be considered as an architectural display thanks to the integration of photovoltaic modules on its façade and roof.
